StoneTrees – “minimalistic tributes to nature”

While on the hunt for new materials we got inspired by the wonderfully bizarre look of leafless branches and twigs. This wonderworld being so alive while looking so frozen in time. It’s like being able to see a tree’s skeleton.

In combination with stone these branches and twigs look like ancient, everlasting natural sculptures that come to life every time one looks at them.

We were so amazed by the look of the first two StoneTrees we made, that we decided to make a series based on this inspiration. Here are the first two StoneTrees of the upcoming series.
